The Urban Agenda Partnership for the Inclusion of Migrants and Refugees, through its Action Education initiative, is hosting a virtual workshop exploring effective approaches to language learning for migrant children.

The session will focus on language support provided both before departure and upon arrival in the host country, examining how education systems can help newly arrived learners develop the language skills needed for successful inclusion and participation. Participants will discuss different approaches to language learning, including the balance between inclusive mainstream provision and more targeted support measures.
